About Jasz Gem
Hi Everyone and thanks for coming by!
My name is Jasmine (Jasz Gem )
Health and fitness became the focus of my life at the age of 12 when I began competing in track and field. I specialized in the 800m, an event demanding the perfect blend of speed, aerobic endurance, and tactical execution. It is arguably the most taxing event in all of track as it requires an athlete to devote all aspects of their lifestyle toward to optimization of their health to avoid injury and sickness that can result from the rigorous training. My discipline toward mastering the event allowed me to compete as a Division I athlete at MTSU.
Maintaining a lean physique was effortless as a college athlete. I enjoyed any food I wanted without counting calories or monitoring sugar because the twice a day training sessions burned off anything I ate. Weight management and toning became a challenge after I had my son. Track was no longer the center of my life and I had to strategize keeping exercise as a priority in my hectic schedule as a working mother. What had once come easy to me became a major frustration. Exercising was no longer enough to maintain abs and athletic physique. I decided that if I was struggling, then others must certainly feel lost, so I dedicated my life toward the study of exercise and creation of solutions for any individual, especially parents, to maintain their ideal physique..
I have trained over 200 women, men and youth clients since becoming a NASM trainer. I have trained with pro athletes and people who are brand new to fitness. I specialize in Women's Fitness, Sports Performance, as well as Online and Group Training.
Now I am happy to say I am still learning and growing through this journey and I am ready to help others work toward and achieve their fitness goals.
xoxo,
Jasz
